Ella Dunshea, a talented singer-songwriter from Melbourne's picturesque Mornington Peninsula, is an emerging talent often likened to artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Olivia Rodrigo, and Hatchie. That's a captivating description of an indie singer-songwriter, likely an emerging or underground artist, with a unique sonic identity that seamlessly merges her passion for storytelling with a distinct blend of indie rock and pop. The use of words like "seamlessly" and "distinctive" suggests that she has a special talent for crafting songs that are both memorable and authentic, and the comparison to a "hidden gem" implies that she is a rising talent who may not yet be widely recognized but is definitely worth discovering.

Ella Dunshea's rise to prominence began in early 2023, with appearances at local gigs on the Mornington Peninsula, showcasing her talent at notable events such as the Mornington Music Festival, Frankston Brewhouse's 'Brew Day Out', and the boutique Coastal Jam festival. Additionally, Ella had the opportunity to open for acts like Fancy Face and Sledgehammer Honey.
