CHAT SESSION 151 with Aaron Luca
Topic- A Journey into 2026 of Building a Dream Through Music!
Monday 20th April 2026 1pm https://rppfm.com.au

For Aaron, music is more than just a craft—it's a powerful form of self-expression, a way to release what’s on his mind and process his journey. This openness makes his songs not only relatable but also a way for him to connect with his audience on a very personal level.
Cathy from “The Daily Mirror” RppFM Peninsula Radio first listened to Aaron sing during his participation in the Two Buoys Unplugged singing competition, 2024. His soulful, heartfelt performances left a lasting impression, and he made it all the way to the finals that year, finishing as the runner-up.
Cathy was captivated by his storytelling and the unique sound of his music, often sharing how Aaron has a remarkable gift for telling his stories through his songs—an ability that truly sets him apart.

“What makes Aaron special is his raw authenticity. When he performs, his storytelling and real-life experiences are palpable—you can feel the emotion and sincerity behind every note. His music isn’t just about catchy melodies; it’s about sharing his thoughts, feelings, and life experiences in a way that resonates deeply with others”, says Cathy
Aaron believes that sharing your thoughts through music is as important as being a skilled magician. Just like a magician wields their craft to captivate and entertain, a musician uses their art to reveal truths, evoke emotions, and tell stories that matter. For Aaron, this means that every song is an opportunity to give others insight into his world, to show them the struggles, hopes, and dreams that shape who he is. It’s this honesty and vulnerability that make his music impactful and meaningful.
In 2025, Aaron entered the Two Buoys Unplugged competition once again and finished as the runner-up. Despite not clinching first place, his performances continued to earn praise, and his storytelling through music deeply resonated with audiences and judges alike. His ability to connect through honesty and storytelling only grew stronger with each performance.
Inspired by his talent and heartfelt storytelling, Cathy wanted to support Aaron in taking the next step. She reached out to him with a surprising opportunity—she connected him with Jack and Matt from Magic Mountain Records. This collaboration was a gamechanger. Jack and Matt became essential partners in helping Aaron record and produce his debut solo track. Eight years of perseverance, countless hours in his room honing his craft, and staying true to his vision finally culminated in the release of his debut single “Memory Lane”, on March 21st, 2026, marking a major milestone in his journey as an artist.
Aaron reflects that the long journey was worth every moment, as those years helped develop a sound that he’s genuinely proud of. He understands the importance of using his music as a vessel to express himself honestly and to inspire others to do the same.
Aaron’s story is a reminder of how vital it is for musicians—not just to craft beautiful sounds, but to share their truth. Just like a magician uses their craft to captivate and reveal wonder, a musician uses their art to share their inner world, to connect and to heal. Aaron Luca is proof that vulnerability, authenticity, and storytelling are powerful tools in creating music that moves people.
Looking ahead to 2026, an exciting new chapter awaits Aaron. A change of scenery to the beautiful Sunny Coast is on the horizon, and he’s preparing to embrace this fresh start, opening the door to new inspirations and opportunities in his music and life.
