Ghislain was born to do things differently. Having grown up in outback Australia her early years were spent living with a deep connection to the land, those around her and herself as a spiritual being. Psychic for as long as she can remember Ghislain has always had the ability to connect with the spiritual landscape.
But everything changed when at the tender age of 16, Ghislain met a man and thought she was in love. Within a few months of their meeting, she moved in with him and unfortunately, what was perceived as love was in fact the early stages of manipulation, abuse, isolation and control.
The relationship quickly turned incredibly violent and within 6 months Ghislain discovered she was pregnant. What would life be like for her daughter and herself if she didn’t begin to make some big changes?
Rather than be a victim of her circumstances in that moment Ghislain made a pledge she still lives by today and that is ‘to become greater than her environment’.
From this pledge the question was, what is the next step to take to become greater than the environment she found herself in? The answer to this was simple: the best way she could improve her life prospects was to return to school.
So, while pregnant Ghislain returned to night school to complete her year 11 studies. In fact, a few hours after finishing one of her classes Ghislain gave birth to her daughter. After having a year off to focus on her daughters first year she returned to school and completed her year 12 studies.
A few years later Ghislain enrolled in an Interior Architecture degree and after 5 years graduated as an award-winning designer. Her career as an interior designer was incredibly successful. She worked internationally for some of Melbourne’s leading Interior Design firms, with a swag of awards, innovative projects and a portfolio any designer would be proud of.
What wasn’t obvious to others on the outside was the toll the abusive relationship had taken on Ghislain, mentally and emotionally.
Lucky to escape with her life, Ghislain spent the next 13 years with a range of health issues that she now knows as stress, trauma and PTSD related illnesses. Suffering everything from crippling depression, IBS, anxiety, insomnia and other stress related issues combined with long hours her professional career demanded of her, Ghislain’s health took a turn for the worse. Externally Ghislain had an incredibly successful career, but on the inside, she was dying.
Ghislain believes that the universe has a way of correcting you when you’re off track and while walking home one-night she was hit by a car that literally stopped her in her tracks! That moment set a trajectory that fundamentally changed her life and would end up being one of the best things that happened to her! As part of her recovery, she was guided to start partaking in Yoga.
Instantly Ghislain fell in love with the stillness and reconnection yoga brought to her life; after being made redundant from her dream (nightmare job, another universal blessing) she boarded a flight to attend the first of many yoga trainings in Bali. This experience changed her life. Ghislain discovered a profound sense of self and connection to the universe that she had long been missing. Arriving in Bali a broken disconnected and lost person, on her return home she was as a completely different woman. The journey not only mended her fragmented identity but also awakened her spiritual consciousness, leading to a deep understanding of her place in the interconnected web of life. For the first time since she was young, Ghislain reconnected to her inner self and her body. This reconnection for Ghislain marked a pivotal moment in her life, as she embraced her identity not just as an individual, but as a vital thread in the larger tapestry of existence. By acknowledging her spiritual essence, she cultivated a deeper awareness of her interconnectedness with herself, others and the universe, fostering a sense of unity and belonging that had eluded her for so long. This awakening brought her profound insights and a renewed appreciation for life, transforming her perspective and guiding her on a path of holistic healing and intentional living.
Upon returning to Melbourne, she knew there was more to life than the corporate business life she was living. Having a strong sense that being a survivor of domestic violence happened to her for a reason she set out to discover what the reason was.
Tired of her own shit she was determined to heal herself and over the next few years continued to follow the breadcrumbs that completely healed and transformed her life.
Very quickly she learnt there was way more to healing than the western approach the doctors had first prescribed her. Through her own healing she connected to the profound intelligence of her physical and energetic body. Utilising a variety of modalities taught her to identify, connect and release emotions, memories and trauma that were keeping her disconnected from her own innate power.
The more she faced her pain the freer she felt. As Ghislain reclaimed her power, she experienced a remarkable healing journey that alleviated a multitude of physical symptoms that had burdened her for years. This newfound connection to her body was not just a means of physical recovery; it also unlocked spiritual pathways that had long been dormant. The more she listened to and honoured her body, the more insights and intuitive understandings flowed into her awareness, deepening her spiritual practice and enhancing her sense of purpose. Ghislain discovered that this holistic approach to well-being nurtured both her physical health and her spiritual growth, leading to a profoundly transformative experience.
Ghislain knew she had to share these powerful practices with other women; after discovering her purpose she launched her second business and left the safety of her corporate job to pursue what she knew she was born to do.
Leaving corporate life to pursue her purpose, Ghislain planned to hit the ground running. However, the impact of years of overtime and unrealistic expectations meant that the moment she stopped her body shut down.
Being forced to slow down allowed her to question the way she worked. As a result of slowing down she become curious about what other work options were available to explore.

Within 3 months Ghislain was finally able to work again. Determined that success didn’t have to make her feel tired and burnt out she began experimenting with what it was like to manage her energy, not her time. So, to prioritise her needs she connected to her body. Focusing on her intuition and spiritual guidance system was a positive turning point that led her to what she is doing today.
To her amazement, Ghislain discovered that taking time off and connecting and prioritising her needs allowed her to create from a place of flow, achieving results of inspiration in way less time! The more she allowed her own compass to guide her the more the universe began providing opportunities in the most amazing ways.

Reconnecting with earth-based wisdom, spiritual practices and the mysteries and magic of the body Ghislain began to understand the devastation of the systematic oppression against women who have been disconnected from their own innate women, internal compass and unique genius. Ghislain began to recognize that many women are often compelled to operate outside of their inherent rhythms and cycles, adhering to societal expectations that prioritize productivity over personal well-being. This oppression has disempowered women keeping them small, weak and well mannered, just how the patriarchy likes them. This enforced behaviour stifles their potential and suppresses their voices, leading to a society that benefits from women's subservience and conformity. This disconnection from their natural pace can lead to physical and emotional ailments, creating a cycle of stress and illness that undermines their health.
Recognizing this pattern, Ghislain felt a renewed urgency to challenge these limitations, empowering women to reclaim their strength, embrace their authentic selves, and disrupt the status quo, thereby fostering a collective shift towards equality and empowerment.
As she reflected on her own journey, she understood the importance of honouring these natural rhythms, advocating for a more compassionate approach that empowers women to align their work and lives with their unique cycles, ultimately promoting healing and well-being.
Ghislain made another pledge that she would spend the rest of her life helping women heal, reconnect to their own innate power and designing lives and businesses as vehicles that impact the life they want to lead.

Over the past 4 years Ghislain has worked with a global array of clients, facilitated around the world and has relocated internationally.
In 2024 she launched leadHERS academy where she’s empowering tomorrow’s female leaders by weaving into the world of leadership, energetics, embodiment and strategy. This is where women become fierce and empowered about who they are and how they serve. Because when a woman reconnects to her body, confidence and power she becomes an unstoppable force of nature. She inspires others around her and uses her business as a vehicle for good to lift her community. Ghislain believes we need more of this in the world and she’s on a mission to make it happen.
