A few months ago, my sister-in-law Lina encouraged me to read a book by Hugh Van Cuylenburg, 'The Resilience Project'. Without hesitation l took her advice and read the book within a week.
I absolutely loved everything about 'The Resilience Project' which is based on ‘Finding Happiness Through Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness’ and resonated with the stories, messages, and philosophies that Hugh integrated into his book.
It was not long after when Hugh’s follow-on book 'The Resilience Project, Let Go, It’s Time For Us To Let Go of Shame, Expectation and Our Addiction to Social Media' was kindly given to me by Lina, and once again, l read the book within a short period of time. l simply couldn’t put it down.
When l found out that Hugh delivers programs in schools and runs live events for audiences, l did not want to miss out. When the first opportunity presented itself, my daughter Brooke and l booked tickets and off we went to the Athenaeum Theatre, Melbourne.
Wow! What an uplifting and profoundly insightful ninety minutes.
Reaffirming the importance of ‘Finding Happiness Through Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness’ can help us to be kinder to ourselves, and those around us.
Hugh’s advice about letting go of shame, expectation, and our addiction to social media was a reminder that there is always room for positive change in our lives.
Listening to the stories that Hugh shared with his audience felt like a reality check that we can all benefit from.
And finally, Beefy, you are a true inspiration.
Love your style even though l am a 'Blues' supporter.

🌺Hi lovely Cathy,
Thanks so much for sharing this info. There are so many wonderful books out there, but it's impossible to be aware of all available. It's only by this sort of recommendation that we can be aware of 'the gems' that await us. I am drawn to 'The Resilience Project' 💗from your wonderful words Cathy and I will hunt it out.
Sounds very much in line with what I am also hoping to share with others ⭐️🌈❤️
