Thanks to everything l had heard from many other people spanning more than three decades as a hairdresser, fundamentally in lockdown l discovered that my purpose was to share some of these stories.
My life in many ways has bought me happiness, fulfilment, and purpose. At times, l also experienced feelings of sadness and loneliness. I have felt confused and vulnerable and no doubt many of you have felt the same at different times in your life!
Due to the longevity of lockdown and with time on my hands it was my time to act.
Story telling has a way of breaking through all the barriers we put in place to avoid ‘feeling’.
I want to sell an idea of an inspired life, one that’s in alignment with my highest values, even if it doesn’t conform to what others may value.
When we act on important matters, hopefully change follows.
When change happens, it equals growth and evolution and growing and evolving may just be after everything the point of this whole thing called life.
Sharing these stories with a wider audience was something that l felt was important.
